Seems slightly worse (rougher) to me. I drive 99% of time in All Purpose, Soft.
Same. All Purpose moderate and soft are very rough. Tried a couple hard resets and some suspension "exercises" but no improvement.

Try Sport mode on low / firm and see what you think.

I suppose their suspension mode calibrations are secret sauce. But I would love if they would disclose a little more detail especially when they make changes like this.

On my 2024 R1T PDM Large I found that the climate controls wouldn't retain button presses after the update. For example, if I pressed the Recirculate button, it would activate and I could hear a relay click, but it would deactivate as soon as I removed my finger. This issue persisted through an entertainment reboot, but seems to have fixed itself after I clicked "Auto" and then went back to manual choices. Anyone else see this problem?

Did anyone notice any difference in the ride quality/comfort after the update? Thanks
Yes, I felt an improvement in the suspension. I also have an X7 with air suspension and always felt a big difference between the X7 and the R1T. Today it seemed closer to the X7.

I'd like it better if they could get the big, long blue labels to not cover the intersection that I'm at. Other than that's its workable.

Sport is now undrivable for me, which is frustrating as I splurged for the Performance upgrade. It's also disappointing because after 2025.10 update, Sport improved a lot in terms of comfort, but this latest update seems to have went back to the previous settings (it might even be slightly worse than when I first purchased). 2025 R1s... :(

I have to say, I am not one bit happy with 2025.22.01. In fact, these last two updates have been pretty much a zero for me. The big deal on 18.01 was the MFA. No thank! Now, on 22.01, I am stuck with Google Maps. I get that some will disagree so spare me the rant. Each to his/her own. But, personally, I try to stay as far away as I can from companies like Google, Meta, and even Amazon (mainly Alexa). A large part of these companies’ business models is scavenging personal info in order to monetize it, at there customers’ expense. These companies all have pretty sketchy track records with protecting personal info. I know, I know. It’s the reality of the world we live in. But, I’m not happy about it and I choose to draw my own line, thank you. With these last two updates, I really feel like Rivian is straying away from its core principals and losing some of my trust.

Moving on, I can’t even access the Google privacy info from my R1T. The QR codes don’t work. Google would probably prefer I not read them, anyway 😂 So now, AFAIK, I have no mapping capability, unless I blindly accept Google Maps 😡 Thankfully, there is always my phone. And, yes. It’s an iPhone 😊

To make matters worse, since installing 22.01, my proximity lock/unlock feature has gone MIA 😡 I’ve tried all the reset options, but nada. Also had a notable driving efficiency drop since the download. However, it is a very small sample size, so we’ll see where that goes. Throw in the blinking lights/no sleep issues we have experienced, and this last week has been a Rivian Adventure to forget.

I like dark mode. I use it on Android phones, I use it on Windows computers, and I use it on my AAOS Volvo XC90. Backgrounds are black (or dark), text is light.

I prefer dark mode on the Rivian all of the time too, but the map, both the Map box version and the Google Maps replacement, are really dark, almost like there is a black opaque layer on top of the map. Everything else is nice and sharp, just like I like it, but the maps are almost impossible to follow, faded/washed out. If I change to the light mode, everything's fine. It's not a brightness question either, even with brightness all the way up the map itself is still entirely too dark.

Interestingly this problem also exists in the Android app on the phone. If I go to that middle tab with my phone in dark mode, even with the brightness turned all the way up, the planning map is just as dark, almost unreadable.

Anyone else?

Thanks

I immediately noticed the energy phone app part is now stable and the windows remote control work again after the update :)

I’m somewhat in the same boat as you, Gen 1, R1T with similar “problem”. Mine won’t even work if I press the try again - parked it up for work for the day, but did a soft / hard reset ready for when I go back to it later… fingers crossed that’s all it is that’s needed to get it back up and running again.
To close this out, all is good in this front for me after a soft / hard reset 👍

Noticing issues in proximity unlock too.
But has anyone noted how the entire navigation ui is much bigger and bigger text now? 🧐

I also cannot read the map on the Rivian in dark mode, so I turned it off. Do not have the update yet, so cannot compare the new maps. Even in light mode, I find the Rivian map the hardest one to read compared to my other two vehicles (Ford and GM). I think it is a contrast/color issue, definitely not the brightness.
