Anyone else feel that returning to normal ride height (AP - Standard) from kneel is taking much longer now? I am not sure if the lower kneel height is attributing to it.
I park in the same spot at work every day. On the way out of the parking lot there are 2 speed bumps. Before this update by the time I hit those speed bumps I was at normal height, now when I go over the bumps I am still building height and the bumps are very jarring.
It has to get to standard height from a lower position now. It should take longer - unless there was some undocumented change at the rate the suspension rises (which I'm doubting, as that seems like it would be more work on the whole system).

Shout out to this post from 2 weeks ago - got the update today!
I expect the next update will start within the next two weeks. LOL.

If not, WTH are we paying $50/month for?

I talk to Wassym pretty regularly. Trust me, he gets an ear-full from me about this. One of the things I brought up often was the inability to change drive modes while on autonomous modes. That's now fixed in 2026.03.
My new update just downloaded so I'm off to test this!
If it isn't already fixed with this I beg of you to please ask him to put in a "too fast to change ride height, change drive mode at current height?" prompt instead of just disallowing the drive mode change. Happens to me all the time trying to swap between conserve or snow etc when I forget to move back to standard height before swapping out of conserve etc. If I'm being really greedy my preferred choice would be a menu setting allowing a choice to default to last used or current ride height when changing drive modes. 😍
Cheers!

I think you're not understanding the issue here. It has nothing to do with speed or ride height - drive mode changes were forbidden when you were using cruise (or higher levels of assistance) That's all. It used to be just flip out of cruise, hit the new drive mode button, then flip back to cruise. Two seconds max, speed didn't even drop if you kept your foot on the accelerator. The ride height IS saved with the mode. I have conserve set at low and all purpose set at standard and when switching to conserve my ride height always gets lowered. This prohibition was never a big deal, now it is less so.

I’m thinking tomorrow they will release the new mobile app and we may get details about the next vehicle update.

They seem to like to release things on Thursday.

I jokingly predicted "Thursday" as the release day of last two OTAs, and was right both times. I was definitely joking the first time, and the second time I thought it might be a pattern. For the last two, anyway!

If you are correct, and some information about the next update comes out tomorrow (maybe along with the R2 announcement), that gives them about a week to start the OTA process. And then maybe the Thursday release day really becomes a pattern! Sounds about right to me.

hey guys! about a month ago got myself a used 2023 R1T, it came with 2025.18 firmware, when update failed multiple times scheduled an appointment at a service center. drove the truck to them using ACC+ highway assist. techs found an issue with one of the modules, replaced it and updated to 2026.03 + addressed a leaking roof applique. After that appointment my ACC is not working. Brought for service again, took them another week, also found and replaced a leaking HVAC unit, but ACC is still not available. Their explanation is that something in my particular R1T doesn't play nice with 2026.03 and that they've escalated the issue to the engineering team. Does anyone else have a similar issue?

Is it too early to talk about 2026.07? Speculation?

Maybe they will fix the repeated “reduced regen braking” warnings that started popping up all the time after they put in launch control and associated battery protection like turning on the cooling fan whether it needs to or not v

I had thought "early 2026" meant Q1 2026 for the Rivian Assistant and hoped it would show up before Q2.

Sure enough, @mkhuffman was right - it's Thursday and the Rivian Assistant just landed (without an update!) in my loaner R1S. Thread here.
No way they push this without fanfare. Your loaner VIN must be part of an internal test group.
