Have you owned a vehicle before this? Not being nasty, just trying to see where you are starting from.took delivery of R1T 2 days ago. while i am still in awe, what potential issues would you recommend to pay attention to rationally?
at the moment, it pulls to the side a little bit and has lots of weights attached to the wheels.
thanks!
I'd pay attention to serious issues/defects that are hard or impossible to fix.took delivery of R1T 2 days ago. while i am still in awe, what potential issues would you recommend to pay attention to rationally?

Or... they determined the existing software causes it to pull to the right, and updating it will be better for the tires.....Mine has had an alignment twice and still pulls to the right pretty hard all various speeds. Even slow in parking lots the wheel prefers to go to the right. Others have complained about alignment so you're not the only one. Rivian told me they are doing software update to address this, which I'm not sure will be good for the tires.
Let's hope that's the case.Or... they determined the existing software causes it to pull to the right, and updating it will be better for the tires.....

Mine pulled some during the first 500 miles. Has gotten better. Maybe tire tread wearing a bit has helped and tires had some unevenness during manufacturing? I’ve heard that one motor a tiny bit out of sync can cause this too…so maybe that is how it is being fixed via software.Mine has had an alignment twice and still pulls to the right pretty hard all various speeds. At least in my case, putting the car in neutral results in the same pull to the right.Mine pulled some during the first 500 miles. Has gotten better. Not aware of being able to put an R1 into neutral while in motion…do you mean when you are using regen? In regen mine would track straight…At least in my case, putting the car in neutral results in the same pull to the right.
Hold the stalk up and it will go into neutral. Not aware of being able to put an R1 into neutral while in motion…do you mean when you are using regen? In regen mine would track straight…
