...I am absolutely amazed by this vehicle. The instant acceleration and torque are intoxicating. The handling around corners at high speed seems to break the laws of physics. The style is unique, aggressive yet friendly. The Meridian sound system has me wanting to re-listen to all of my old favorite music for sounds I never knew were there. The frunk...so convenient. I never knew I needed a frunk until I had one.

Launch green with forest edge interior looks so good together. Forest edge is worth the upgrade, imo. It is rich and beautiful.

By the way, I have a question for R1S owners. Is there a preferred location for the cross bars when not in use? I just put them on for the first time this morning, and I thought middle and back latches looked like the best for placement. Not too concerned about the range hit keeping them on. I like the way they look.

We have ours on the middle and back also. Found leaving it on the front whistled too much while driving. Will move one of them forward when needed.

We store our cross bars in the garage except for the rare occasion we need them. They definitely whistle when in use, and we're on the 20" ATs so I don't want any more range reduction for every day driving!

I did notice the extra wind noise today when on the highway, but only during the lull between songs. I will monitor to see how much it bothers me.

Looks great, @ranieri! I'm thinking Forest Green, maybe with a matte Xpel total wrap. I've been debating Black Mountain w/dark ash vs. Forest Edge w/warm ash. Forest Edge looks nice - a unique color and not so dark - but $2K is $2K.

2) you're in northern CT, not particularly close to a service center. Did they deliver to your home, or did you travel to NYC or Boston?

I received home delivery. The nearest service center is Chelsea, MA, which is about 90 miles away.

LG+FG for the win. Best looking combo imo, ESPECIALLY when you get it out into nature. It just blends in and looks natural. One of my favorite feelings in life, quiet, blended, just me and nature.

Until a Jeep or buggy comes blasting by at 100db :sigh:

Do the crossbars fit in the rear storage area? The website has them at 51.5" and I think the floor section right behind the 3rd row seat is a little wider than that?

I wish they would sell me a vehicle so I could just measure it.
