Does RIVN get this data? Is it worth telling RIVN, I love my R1S but hate vampire drain? 3 miles/ day seems excessive.
ElectraFi and other services like it literally get the data straight from Rivian's API, so yes, Rivian has it all and likely far more that they don't make available in their public API.

I'm also addicted to ElectraFi and love checking it to see my stats. I'm a data analytics professional for my career so I love stuff like this.

There are literally only ~400 connected Rivians out of 10s of thousands of drivers. Would love to see more of us on there so we can compare to our peers. I do understand peoples' hesitations with their data, however it's all being collected by Rivian anyways, why not be able to use some of it?

Is there any way for it to access all data, prior to when you have given authorization? It would be great if it could analyze the entire history.

Sadly, no. It seems like neither Tesla or Rivian store that data in a consumable or accessible form. They may not store it, but it's pretty valuable data for their use, so I'm doubting that it's lost. It's only accessible from the time that you tell Electrafi to start collecting it.

How accurate is electrafi data?

drive miles - 18
Rated miles - 13
Drain - 3

I cannot figure out if rated miles are understated or if drain is overstated.

I'm wondering how accurate Electrify efficiency data compared to the Rivian Trip data?

If you go through their charge/discharge procedure to calibrate their system, I've found it to be pretty close. Probably within 0.1 mi/kWh of the trip meter most of the time. May depend on pack size if ElectraFi doesn't have good data about usable pack capacity for your configuration.

Charge/discharge procedure? Where do I do that on electrify ?

I can't find it in their documentation now, but IIRC you need to discharge the battery enough to charge the battery at least 60% twice. So if you discharge to 15% and charge to >=75% that should be enough to get a good estimate. IIRC, the Rivian API only transmits %SoC and not actual kWh added/consumed, so ElectraFi estimates the energy by knowing the usable capacity. The charging states do show kW at a given time, so they can use that to help calibrate the energy vs %SoC, etc.

Bottom of the website says "Please complete a charge to 90% or more to calibrate the kWh calculation for your vehicle."

I've done it once, but the banner still shows for me so I might try it again at somepoint.

I do love Electrafi so far though, however I can't find any of the deep sleep settings or anything to try and reduce phantom drain. Seems pretty good though, have had it since I picked up my truck.

I think we went from 15 percent to above 75 once or twice before subscribed to electrafi. We did a 45 miles drives today and it said 2.29 on rivian but electrify said 2.59. That is big different.

There isn’t anyway to get miles/kWh either correct? Or do I not have that on my 2 month trial? Mines just been showing wh/mile

I really like the Drives > Lifetime Map feature. It's really fun to see the road trips we've taken the Rivian on.

You take the miles driven / kwh used

The easy way to convert Wh/mile to miles/kWh is to take 1000 and divide it by the Wh/mile number that you see in electraFi. For example, 529 Wh/mile is 1.89 miles/kWh (1000/529). My actual data was 18.19 miles / 9.62 kWh = 1.89 miles/kWh.
