I saw this news report about Beam Global. What looks to be a type 1-2 charging solution for remote areas or a lower-cost charging station for a business, apartments, etc.

There’s a few of them in East Tennessee like this. It is handy in a pinch, but it only gives you 5 kW. Half that of course if you’re sharing with a friend.

Really like this, fills a gap until we get to point where charging is like gassing up (and batteries super dense).

We are planning an trip through Yellowstone and taking the long range tesla due to scarcity of charging. Setups like this would be perfect for places like that where they are very conscience of anything construction etc, these could be placed all over with almost no threat to environment.

My only concern is that it is bolted down as a good wind gust might knock it over.
