Can the Rivian Push Notification be customized?

This is not a big deal but is there a way to customize push notifications or to designate my home charger so that the push notification doesn’t say “Move on when you can, so others can charge”?

Set your home location in the nav so it knows you're home. I never get this notification.

I do have my home location set in the nav. What home charger are you using?

I see similar posts on Reddit and the commonality is ChargePoint. I did a chat with Rivian this morning and it was confirmed that this must be a setting in the ChargePoint Home Flex.

I don't get this notification at home either. My home location is set in my navigation.

Ah, funny. This has been bugging me too. But, I have my primary residence set as Work and my second place up north as Home. My main house is set up so the car is parked farther away from where we hang out, so my phone isn't constantly unlocking and locking the vehicle. Not the case in the small place up north. So, I set the other place to Home so proximity locking is disabled there.

Anyways, I was wanting to disable this notification which I thought was silly.

I think if Rivian can add multiple Home support, that would fix this problem.

Are you using ChargePoint chargers?

It sounds like a location issue. Try erasing and re-entering your home address.

No, I think it’s probably working as designed. I have two garages. If I could set both of those as Home locations, perhaps that would disable the notification in both places.

Right now, it thinks one of my garages is a public location and that I should move alone and let some stranger park there. Maybe that would help the overall charging infrastructure.

I only have one home. The same address in R1T and ChargePoint but it still pushes a notification to move on.

Ah, gotcha. Interesting. I can’t imagine how it could be charger specific. Seems like that logic would be all in the vehicle.

Anyway, back to the drawing board.

Got that same notification for the first time... but mine is at Eastvale Sirvice Center.
