Or maybe just an acorn....KJ strikes again.
Or maybe just an acorn....
Every ping on roof or front glass, acorn, bug, comet, you name it.... Just waitingOr maybe just an acorn....
could you get a picture of the identification markings on the glass? Curious who the supplier is.My roof cracked on its own. I didn’t touch it or put any weight on it.![]()
Looks like you breathed on it wrong. My roof cracked on its own. I didn’t touch it or put any weight on it.![]()
My theory is that it’s from slamming the door shut. The passenger side door is difficult to close, and maybe that put pressure on the roof glass.could you get a picture of the identification markings on the glass? Curious who the supplier is.
When two suppliers have the same issue I have to think the spec is weak rather than manufacturing defect.…And then there were two (automotive glass companies that suck).![]()
Very possibly but it’s far easier to simply jump to conclusions. When two suppliers have the same issue I have to think the spec is weak rather than manufacturing defect.
Or the robot that draws the bead of adhesive/vibration damping material prior to the glass being put into place was out of tolerance and left spots where there was insufficient material during installation.Could it more simply be that the robots that place this glass into position had a day that calibration was off and tolerances were too tight and now any flex of the body cracks the glass in those trucks built during that particular time? Just spitballin....
