Creaking noise when approaching the vehicle

Noticing something new the last few days on my R1S. When I approach the vehicle - assume PAAK is waking it up- there is a 3 to 5 second creaking sound that seems to eminate from just behind the front grill (towards the right side if you're facing the vehicle).

Anyone else have this and/or know what it is?

What @Oldsmobile_Mike said. Rivian SC had to fix my “Dracula’s Coffin” noise these vent louvers were making.

A touch of silicone dry lube at the articulation points is all it needs.

LOL, Dracula's coffin is exactly right. mine was doing it too. I brought it up when I took it in to get the full spare. Apparently it is a common problem. They lubed it and I haven't heard it since.

I just had mobile service here today (for a different reason), and I mentioned this to him. He told me it just needs lube. 30 seconds with some silicone spray later; all set.

I am fond of the creak - it's like my truck has recognized me and is welcoming me back and begging to be taken on a drive. And I'm fond of the smell of the washer fluid too.

I sprayed some silicone lube in each corner where the folding mechanism is and it hasnt made noise since. Wish all the problems were so easy to diagnose and resolve.

Excellent timing! This finally got to the point where it bothers me today when I took some folks on a joyride. They didn't even notice, but it really struck when there were others around. Came here to ask about it, and here it is. Thanks, y'all.

I found it hard to describe the noise..“Dracula’s Coffin” is spot on. I was down the road of creaking or squeaking but nothing really was correct. I was actually waiting for the "Muhahahaha" but that didn't come. Would have been a cool cover up for a problem if they could have blasted that from the speakers.
