I do that as well on occasion. If I'm staying within about 20 mins of home, all I bring with me is my phone these days. License, registration, insurance, Apple pay, etc. are all on my phone. No need to lug along anything else.
Always have keycard with me “just in case”. I also test it once in awhile to make sure the keycard actually works. Primary connection is PAAK. Sometimes have the keyfob and sometimes I just leave it home.

None, just the phone. I don’t even know where my fob is..
What do you do at the carwash or where you have to do valet parking? Do you give them your phone or follow them so you can use your phone to open/start the car?

  1. Phone
  2. card for valet
  3. fob for never.
So this is actually worse than coventional cars where you only carry one key and just give the key to valet parking operator or at the carwash. Now with Rivian we carry 3 keys lol.

What do you do in case when you have to valet parking or you are at the car wash. I doubt they know how to use the keycard and it would also be awkard to use your phone for them.
I never valet, just a personal choice for me. I bring my key fob when I know I am going to the car wash or just leave my phone in the vehicle.

I meant I never use my fob. Sits in a tray in the kitchen 100% of the time. My wife used her wristband for about 3 days when we first got the car (it's her daily vehicle). The "nuisance" of carrying a card in addition to a phone is trivial.

Any place I'd valet knows how to use the keycard. Most of the valet drivers at nicer places have taken classes in driving exotics and my Rivian is middle of the road for the cars they park.

PaaK and I've always got the key card in my wallet, just in case. Did the same with the Tesla and you're always ready for the valet.

PAAK only. I don’t worry about fob or card backups.

Same here, but there have been situations where I've YOLOed with just PaaK.

I fully expect to be bitten in the arse about this at some point.
95% I YOLO the PAAK lifestyle. I was fortunate the day that Rivians cloud went down however, as I was carrying the fob.
