2024.43 is going out in the next couple of days

I'm assuming there's not a release between .43 and .50 ... So.. .Either we aren't getting a december update or this IS the december update and Wassym is under-promising on timeline.

I'm hoping for a .50 UAT in December with a January Release based on RivianTracker's reporting.

I think it's tight to squeeze this before EOY, unless UAT for .50 version goes out before the End of the Month. Such an update NEEDS lots of testing.

Hopefully google cast doesn’t break a bunch of other stuff which is working now. I wonder if they factored extra processing power to these vehicles at inception or if the infotainment will become slower down the road with more tasks to perform added to the workload. I am guessing more infotainment resets in the near future.

Word on the street is that Google Cast has been in testing for a VERY long time. Supposedly it's been in the last several updates, but then getting pulled because it wasn't ready yet

It says 2024.50 so obviously that is in 2024. The 50 means 50th week so middle of December.

If it was in Jan 2025, then it would be 2025.X (X=1-4) for Jan.

There is typically a lag between the week in the naming nomenclature and the actual week it is launched. The 43rd week of 2024 was last week of October but we have not yet seen 2024.43.

Have you considered looking at historical data? I believe the second number is actually a reference to the week their first release candidate version of that update is supposed to get locked.

We're supposed to be getting 2024.43 any day now... currently in week 47 of the year.

Exactly stream movies and TV shows to the screen, plus a built in Youtube app
