Ok maybe I am just stupid and can’t figure it out but how do I use the Nav system without auto routing to charging stations?

If I put in a destination into the navigation system and the guess-o-meter calculates that I will arrive with less then (it seems) 100 miles or so it routes me to a charging station. Can I disable this feature? Many times I am ok with arriving with 60 miles to spare but can’t use the Nav because it keeps rerouting me. It’s sooooo frustrating.

You can set preferences to allow you to arrive at a destination with less than it's default. Put in a destination, and once it calculates the route, select the menu at the bottom of the nav and change arrival preferences to say 5% battery, and you can either save that as the new default, or just the one time.

No, that feature only takes them off the display, but it does not ignore them for selecting chargers to stop at. But in the phone trip planner you can ignore undesired chargers. However, once you send that trip to the truck, it recalculates stops and will include those.

Nav and trip planning is terrible.

This exact thing added unnecessary stop for my last roadtrip. The default was set to arrive with 60 miles range. After changing that to 30 miles, the Nav removed the added stop. I got to the destination with 43 miles range.

I only use the Nav just to check what the vehicle thinks the remaining range is at the destination. I then delete the route until I'm off the highway.

When you put a destination in, press the little circle next to the charging stops

Remove works until you start driving. Then it reroutes you and there's nothing you can do to avoid it. Super annoying.

I have a different annoyance. I've done two trips to NYC so far, and both times it suggested charging stops in CT at EA chargers that I had researched and was comfortable with (Stratford 8-station and North Haven 4-station). But on both drives I was apparently driving more efficiently than the car expected, and without warning as I got closer to the stop I realized that it had moved to another station further along the route. I wanted the original stop so had to cancel the destination and enter it manually, while on the highway (using driver+ at least). I think the system should at least ask before it changes the stop.

So basically all the planning and adding or removing stops means nothing.

I can't wait til 2026 when cars get to decide whether you are competent to drive or they refuse to go further.
