OP, as many others have said, there is not a lot that can be done to change the front end. I did however tint the light bar and blacked out the bumper. I like the end result.

That looks good. How did you black out bumper?

I fully understand many of you from different areas and backgrounds will likely have different views than me. I don’t wear skinny jeans and I don’t need my truck to smile at others. Please stay on topic. Again, this isn’t a poll asking whether or not you like the front.

Thank you to everyone who has provided options they’ve seen or created. Please keep them coming!

someone else on this forum recommended BrainExploder Merch (yes, that’s the company name) and they have a blackout kit for front and rear for $150. The precut pieces are a little tight. I would have prefer the tolerances to be a bit more generous but it looks good as long as you don’t look to close.

the light bar tint was done by the same company that did the window tint and ppf. I’m sorry I don’t remember the % tint.

They have some cool R1 stuff. I’ve bought a couple things from them previously and will check out their blackout kits also. Thanks!

Has anyone done anything to make the front end look less cartoonish? Any cool wraps, deletes, etc that temper the feminine look? I’ve had my R1T for about 6 months and just bought a R1S but the front end kills me.
Same as post above. It’s not a huge change but I put a front light bar and lamp tint kit from Abstract Ocean which makes it look darker when parked - still similar to normal when headlights are on. I agree with others the look is a signature part of Rivian and I thought it was crazy at first before ever thinking about buying it, but now I like it. Doesn’t bother me at all.

I thought this little racing stripe was kinda cool and a little more aggressive. Would look good in Rivian yellow.

Looks good. I wonder what it would look like with asymmetric stripes going front to rear.

I’d love the see the halo and headlights shortened on the next gen. For this gen I’ve been thinking what it would look like if someone blacked out either the top and bottom or sides of the halo’s. My phone photoshop attempt was pitiful lol.

At first I thought it was a Dodge which I would not want to copy even though it looks good.
I have to admit I was going for a very traditional truck look, so I like that you validated that I met the goal I intended to hit.

To be clear, I do actually like the distinctive look of the stock front end. It definitely defines the brand and helps distinguish it from all the other trucks on the market.

But I also have a fondness for "Sleeper" aesthetics. Where I blend in until I blow someone's doors off when they least expect it. Like the original B5 S4 where it looked a lot like every other regular Audi 4 door family sedan on the road, until it took off like a rocket.

I got the vinyl wrap from abstract ocean. Easy to install and, from what I’ve read, easy and clean when taken off.

Thank you for posting. I was about to buy this. Looks pretty good, but for my personal taste, is a little too much solid black on my white truck. I think it's perfect for the darker colored trucks. Saved me $45.......maybe.

I just haven't had time to get around to it, but my thought was, possibly black vinyl the area below the running light between the two headlights where Rivian molded the body to appear as if it were designed to originally have a grille there. Anyone want to work a little photoshop magic on that?

In addition, thinking maybe just get the middle portion of the above photo'd black strip, add that to the lower portion being partially blacked out with vinyl, might be an option???

Would still have some white trim around the edges between the black vinyl and headlights if following the molded lines in the front end.
