I’m going to piggyback on this thread with my noob question, since my previous car was a Tesla and everything was easy: I have the Electrify America app on my iPhone available on Apple Pay, which I understand will allow me to use EA chargers by tapping my phone. I put $20 on EA and set it up to auto refill every $20. That said, at like $0.48/kWh, that won’t cover but a fraction of my battery. Will EA auto re-up my account mid charge, or will it stop charging? Do I need to preload more money on EA? Can I leave EA empty and just get charged as I use it?

I haven’t used it yet, but I put my CC on EA, added EA to my Apple Wallet and assume I will get a CC charge when I fill up. That’s how it works on ChargePoint.

The "shock flo" is a sub-grade chinese unit that can easily pull too much from the worn RV outlets you will come across, has none of the safety or line testing features of the Tesla unit, and may or may not work when you really need it. RV outlets get a lot of use; & I don't remember ever seeing one in "excellent condition". Tryin to pull north of 40 out of one for 10 + hours is a recipe for disaster.

It will not adjust to the outlet.

Yes, even without a NACS mobil cord you need a NACS to J1772 adapter to charge from the ubiquitous NACS EVSEs at hotels & businesses all over the county..

Do not buy the Tesla NEMA adaptors individually. Buy the complete kit. It comes in it's own bag, and ensures you have what you need for any given stop.
Can the Tesla NEMA Adaptors be plugged directly into the Rivian mobile charging kit, or do they require being plugged into a NACS plug when going back to the EV?

No. They are designed to work with the Tesla Gen 2 mobile cord.
