Question on charging at Tesla superchargers

In certain areas, I have found PlugShare to include compatible chargers (DCFC and LVL 2) that do not show up on the Rivian app or center screen

The Rivian app/navigation doesn't include all charging networks - only certain specific networks. Be aware of this - there are a lot more chargers out there. When planning a trip use something like ABRP or PlugShare which will show you all the chargers/networks.

go to the tesla.com/findus map and then select only superchargers. Toggle on and off the tesla exclusive ones and the supercharger sites appear to double.

Click on many and you'll be suprised to learn at 1/3 of them are V3

Palm springs has an 8 stall NACS charger and then a 24 stall tesla exclusive. Both V3.

Indio has an 8 stall v3 and then a 46 stall tesla exclusive one.

I am very well aware of that, and it has nothing to do with the other problem of a lot of old chargers.

If you see a large charger (in OPs case a 30 stall) it would be a newer charger most likely.

Not sure tesla built any V2s around LA larger than 24 stalls
