I just kept scrolling until it stopped refreshing/adding to the bottom. Then did a simple Find function to search how many times R1S showed up. For the trim and other details, I copy/pasted the entire page into excel via text format. :)
Ah, the brute force way that I was too lazy to do. Good work there

Recently given access to the shop with an early 2023 R1S preorder after finalizing my configuration a few weeks ago (shocked to have access this soon). Found one with the specs I wanted in the shop and finalized it. A little hesitant to purchase since the VIN is 16xxx since the latest VINs are close to 30k. Should I be concerned that it’s a customer reject since it was likely built early summer and we are now seeing 2024 model years coming out?

(VERY) Newbie here. Took home our ElCap Granite / Ocean Coast Quad Large pack w Sport-Brite 22s (VIN 29xxx) this past Wednesday, exactly FIFTY SIX days after our test drive and $1K deposit.I was incredulous, my wife skeptical (“But I thought you said at least a year!”). I’ve been reluctant to post about this, but here it is.

My thought is they must be trying to pad delivery numbers for Q4 2023. Either that or somehow they knew I bought RIVN at the IPO.

Delighted to be part of the Rivian family pleased that I was able to buy something faster than my 911.

Peace all!

Nope, just got a call from a Rivian rep (not my guide) telling me they had a vehicle with (almost - the wheels had to be swapped) my configuration rolling off the assembly line. I received a VIN right after I hung up the phone.

Same boat as me. Been avoiding posting as I didn't want to jinx myself, but my pickup is tomorrow. I went into a showroom in Atlanta the Monday before Thanksgiving and took a test drive. Had done zero with Rivian prior to that other than wanting one. Guy at the showroom said about a year so I put a deposit down that day. Had a call within a week and a VIN shortly after (29XXX). Also had to do a wheel swap, but otherwise it was everything I was looking for. Makes me feel bad for those that have been waiting an eternity. Maybe I'm just in a delivery priority zone or something (east bay, CA). No idea, but I'm sure they're trying to push high dollar builds for the end of the year to make numbers and maybe pushing behind those that maybe had dual motor or lesser options.

I'm guessing you guys got one of the more available builds on R1Store. I see plenty of Quads, Dual Perf, and/or Max packs on there. They're probably making me go through a mandated Store browsing period to make sure I won't get antsy and purchase a higher MSRP vehicle from the store.

Actually, since I check so much, they might make me wait more... ?

I just had to open my mouth. Delivery got delayed until Friday due to the wheels not arriving in time :crying:. Hopefully this is the only hiccup and everything else is spot on. Everybody has been super nice so far though.

Slightly similar here - especially the not wanting to post details in case I jinxed it.

I put in a reservation earlier this year, and then a few weeks back (December 1st), after seeing multiple comments here from people asking if they could delay configuring / locking in, decided to contact Rivian. I just used the chat on the website. Started by asking how long realistically until I got my vehicle - a vague sometime first half of next year type thing - then let them know nicely I was a motivated buyer and would close this year if they found the right vehicle. Some back and forwards about what I wanted, and how flexible I was, and then she said she'd see what she could do, but no promises. Within 2 hours a sales guy reached out with 2 yellow QM's available to me. Chose the one with ocean interior, and picked up last Friday. 15 days after the chat. I didn't think I had a shot at compass yellow, but damn I'm driving one around today ! :)

If you're in a similar boat - doesn't hurt to try.

Bummer. I was determined to keep my experience on the down-low until I had key fob/cards in hand to avoid the hex!

What're you waiting on? I'm Limestone/OC+DA on darks DM/Large Pack. Feel like I've seen almost everything else slide into the shop at some point.
