I like optimism and hope but I am trying not to get my hopes up too high. I'm sure I would be perfectly fine with any of the premium offers but besides the horse power, I'm wanting the tow package, connect+ for life, etc. that is included in the LE but would be an added expense with the regular premium models. I had a deposit early on with Tesla for a Tri-Motor Cybertruck but when the price went way up and the range went way down, I got my $100 back and decided I didn't need a truck after all.I don't think even Rivian knows how many they will make, but on context clues, you could still get a launch edition IMO.
Based on my impressions from talking to people and at showrooms, most folks are waiting for the cheaper models. I don't blame them, either, as not everyone is really looking for 650hp and at this price point, sticking to a budget is important. I'd stay cautiously optimistic for a LE.
If it doesn't work out, then you might as well just wait for the lidar vehicles with the new chips to come out and save some money and go with the premium trim. If I had the patience, this would be my route.
Not saying they're selling for a profit, just that some people who will take delivery may realize it's not the vehicle for them or life/circumstances change, etc.Really? You thinking people are selling for a profit? I heard WI residents will take delivery in IL, Potentially Buffalo Grove, IL SC.
