They have a cabin vent to assist with this - maybe the Rivian doesn't have this - but even with the vent the difference is noticeable.
All new cars have these vents, it's critical if the air bags go off...they would literally blow out windows with that much volume displacing the interior so quick.

Reminds me of the older Beemers that would automatically crack the window to assist with closing the doors. No idea if the new one's still have that feature. Rivian could probably make that happen with a software update.
Your comment reminded me of Tesla's windows, which automatically roll up a tad bit just as you close the door. I’ve always wondered about this, and I think it must be related to the cabin pressure.
