I switched all my devices to the metric system because on a bicycle your speed and distance numbers are automatically 60% higher and your ascent is only 30%! I feel so much faster. I can’t understand why my fellow club members won’t change their devices.

In my truck, I’m routinely driving over 115.
This is why I love driving in Canada. You get everywhere 30% faster!

just saw this... sure hope that's the trick. I actually haven't gone into Tow mode yet. PIcking up a new adventure trailer camper this weekend! Already planning a roadtrip to CO in a month.
Let me know if that works. My range estimates were wildly off in tow mode. Up to 370 miles at one point. My truck usually maxes out around 310 in conserve mode, 20 AT's. I used my trip efficiency to calculate range.
When I first got my truck in November 2022, range in tow mode seemed to work pretty good. I didn't tow again until March 2023 and it was completely broken, showing more range than conserve mode. I reported to Rivian. Hope it gets fixed eventually, maybe in the upcoming towing update?

It appears that they removed the ability to contact your guide. At least if you have a delivered vehicle. Just automatically goes to CS I guess.
Web interface still lets me, although it doesn’t seem to reflect the memo that I supposedly have a guide team now. Not sure it matters though.
I don't believe mine every gave me the option to contact my guide. Maybe it's because I bought mine used, but I know that I still have a guide assigned to me/my R1T.

One thing i noticed is that if there is any object that is blocking your liftgate to open, it does not allow you to remotely open it. I think thats new. My car is parked in the garage and there is no way i can open my lift gate with my garage door closed.

This is currently a bug due a firmware mismatch. This feature will roll out with firmware 2023.30. Currently upon app update/reinstallation, the "liftgateClear" value is defaulting to false in absence of the proper initialization from the car (2023.30 will provide the appropriate value based on the vehicle's sensor fusion).

For now, you can reset and fix this by activating one of the other functions (venting and closing windows is generally a safe remote operation).

not bad. pretty good looking. other than new look? nothing.
Not sure it is well qualified as 2.0. i guess i will wait for the vehicle update to see.

in android version, now every time i open the app, i am not stuck to see the 2-3 second Rivian logo/loading Ui anymore. which is the best improvement.

Much much cleaner design. I hope my new/used R1T gets added to my account soon so I can actually put this to use.

Is this a new hack to make your Rivian go faster???
