Rivian Assistant not accessing all my calendars?

Now that I have Truckdor back from the shop, I added my personal Google calendar. However, a lot of our events are on a shared family calendar and not the "my calendar" calendar. So it's not recognizing these events, on the ones I create that I only add to my own calendar. Is there a way to get it to recognize all these various calendars under my Google account?

Just did that, no change. Seems with the language it should access all the calendars

The assistant currently only sees the account's primary calendar. Not sure if that's a Rivian limitation or Google.

Bummer. I gotta imagine it's RA since the Google permissions say it will access all your calendars...

I was hopeful that maybe since it's Google based that the Home setting would do it. I have to live vicariously thru you all while I sit here on 2026.03

This is how it currently functions. I'm also disappointed by it. Only way to get it onto the system now is to use a third party app to duplicate all events to your main calendar.

Might have to do that. I have very few events on my main calendar anyway...

I suppose the other option is to import from an ics file, but it won't update if they change details

Rivian has publicly acknowledged that currently it can only sync with the primary account holders google calendar and not shared calendars - it's a permissions issue from what I've been told that they are/will continue to work with Google on while they also work top integrate more calendar like Outlook.

You can try some of the tird party workarounds that Jose reviews here.

Can't you just open the Family event and invite yourself ("add people") to the event? Annoying to have both show up on your Google calendar, but I think it's the simplest solution.

We have WAAAAY too many events to manually move them over. Appts, kids sports, work events, etc all on the family so the wife and I can stay coordinated
