Intellectually, I knew it from the dimensions, but seeing is believing.

With the relatively late tweak to the frunk layout, I don't think anyone is fitting "2 full size coolers" in there anymore.

Not quite going to fit the irregular shape of the gear tunnel either (though this will eventually be occupied with the kitchen anyways).

And it just scrapes the tonneau (though it still opens and closes, so at least this works). No 12V back here though (thankfully this fridge works on 120VAC too).

On the business side, I'm sure there will be great margins on a Rivian-optimized fridge... ??

Did you try to lift the bottom up in the frunk to see if it would fit? Looks like the bottom is still down

The bottom is folded up. in that pic. The fridge fits fine flat atop the shelf, just sticks up about 8" too far. Under the shelf, the plastic cladding intrudes significantly on the front-rear axis.

Thanks for sharing those pics! A number of us have discussed this in the past in another thread. It seems crazy to have a huge battery and a camp kitchen, but no place to put a decent-size electric cooler. Many are taller than 17", so they don't fit well in the frunk or bed with tonneau closed. What ARB model do you have that just barely fits in the bed? Is that the ARB Classic 63QT?

Ours is the 37qt. I think it's the smallest one they make.

It looks like the 37 QT and 63 QT are the same height. So, that could be promising.

my bigass 50QT pelican cooler definitely won’t fit in the front trunk. It’ll be so close

@timesinks from about 3:30 in this video, Brian Gase mentions the possibility of a customized cooler to fit the front trunk via dometic. Hopefully that’s something still on their R&D radar for accessories.

+1 for the Hummer EV! I really like the Hummer, just concerned about the width and height (not sure it would fit in my garage) and quite a bit more $$$ (If I didnt have a pre 3/1 Rivian Pre-Order pricing I would probably go Hummer EV). Im still on the fence between these two. I am also very interested in how the Ram 1500 EV turns out...
