Here's most folk's data in a graph, R1 delivery date x, NACS delivery Y. If you squint and fudge your data in your favor 'cuz that's what we do, a swag will be: 1 month NACS gap for every 2 months R1 delivery. So: if you have a Nov-Dec '23 R1, Vegas odds have NACS before Christmas.

The recent production increase might throw a wrench in your graph and make the average wait time shorter. So this graph above might show worst case scenario.

Yeah, a linear fit is just wrong. And with only like 10 points you're not going to be able to extrapolate anything with a reasonable confidence level.

Tesla is making 8000 per week right now, and at that rate, even if it doesn't increase, most if not all Rivian owners should have an adapter before March.

Oh come on, Rivian likes you better than me? I'm still waiting on my 03/22 31XX VIN R1T. By this point it seems like I'll end up getting an adapter meant for my R1S first.

Same boat here. 3/22 delivery R1T vin 17XX with 2/19 reservation and no word or help from CS.

Stay vigilant you can find these fairly inexpensive. I paid 125 that included shipping from someone local.
I figure I will keep this with my Kia EV9 after the one comes in for my Rivian.

But many of those are going to Ford and GM owners though. Rivian isn't Tesla's only customer.

Didn't delivery rate of Rivians pick up '23. If the Tesla -> Rivian transfer rate doesn't increase, I would assume the chart actually slows down as it get to Summer and Fall '23 deliveries.

For all we know, the Tesla production rate is to satisfy the GM demand while keeping Rivian and Ford steady. (We won't know)

The Ford packaging is definitely nicer than Rivian's bare-bones packaging which consists of a kitchen grade plastic bag wrapped adapter inside a corrugated cardboard wrap inside a plain cardboard box with a small business card size Avery label that simply says "for instructions scan the QR code".
