There are three Bluelink packages: Connected Care, Remote and Guidance. After the trial period is over, each package is available for $99/year or $9.90/month. The Connected Care Package comes with a complimentary trial for all new Bluelink-equipped vehicles. Currently, there are no à la carte options available.

Connected Care is a comprehensive safety and car care package that offers peace of mind no matter where you are. Call Center agents are standing by 365 days, 24 hours a day to summon help or provide emergency assistance. The Remote Package gives you convenient access to features via the web or smartphone app. You can Remote Start your car, use Remote Climate Control (if equipped), unlock/lock your doors or locate your car when you forget where you parked it. The Guidance Package provides more than just the quickest route to your destination.

I am guessing you have a netflix subscription, but also pay an internet provider at home to access the internet, and project it on your tv. I also assume with the same netflix subscription, you also pay a mobile phone data service to access the internet/netflix on your phone. Both of those seem similar to me as paying Rivian to access your netflix subscription in their vehicle using their data service.

If I pay for the WiFi/LTE from Rivian, that’s fine. It’s the paying just for the functionality to play on the screen is my beef.

Also out of left field but does the rear A/C monitor/screen have the functionality to display future entertainment? Granted it would be small but is it capable?

Yes, at some point in the past there was a software Q&A where it was posed if the back seat screen would be enabled to “do more”. It was intimated that the screens were far more capable to do content and it was being developed and explored for future releases. At the time the speculation was video content or games.. etc.

Sounds like that’s coming, just behind a paywall of some kind. ?
