Pro Tip: When using A/C, turn it off a few minutes before you arrive at your destination, but leave the fan blowing. This helps dry out the evaporator, which will help avoid any mold/mildew from forming over time and keep your A/C system from stinking.

I've just blasted Lysol disinfectant spray into the intake while blasting the fan at full speed. Then shutting everything down for 30ish minutes before turning it on again. Has done the trick on all of my vehicles.

Update: they got me in quick for a service appt and are changing out the 12V batteries. Apparently this is the issue causing the smell
