Almost two years depending on Portland (Oregon) SC, and they've always been great. Excellent leadership and staff!

I would still prefer direct telephone access to the Service Centers -- but once the first appointment is scheduled, Portland SC is VERY responsive to in-app texts.

Glad the national picture seems to be improving. Best to all!

When you get there, the Charlotte SC is great. It is all the gyrations with Rivian and the appointment that is frustrating. First its a home visit and the day before it becomes a SC visit in the future. Trying to coordinate with another future SC visit and whining about the wait they find an earlier slot for both. Great! Then when I get there they may need to keep the vehicle over the weekend for a three hour job - obviously they really could not fit it all in. Whined some more and low and behold, everything was done by mid-afternoon.

I really don't mind if issues take time and things happen - but it always seem that I am jerked around until I get to the SC.

Can't agree 100% based on my limited experience with the Burbank SC.

Seems like less horror stories about service centers. And new ones are coming online.

Looks like the service center issues are resolving?
I don't want to jinx myself but I've used Trenton NJ, Gaithersburg MD, and Malvern PA. All were good experiences so far.

It's hard for me to compare because my most recent visit required the truck to be towed in for a 12v and a Christmas tree's worth of other lights and errors. It got in within a couple days and was fixed in 10 days, but the original appointment date was 3 months in the future. Previously in January it took 5 weeks for a PTC install and some other smaller issues. August before that was 2 weeks with a 1 week turnaround. I'd say lead times are getting worse, not better.

Most people don't take issue with the service itself. The Gaithersburg people are nice, and I do believe most are trying their best. People have a problem with how long it takes to get service, especially if it is not a critical safety or drivability issue. When the R2 comes out, there will be an absolute tsunami once they are able to ramp production. The same thing happened to Tesla when the Model 3 came out.

I just dropped mine off this am at Blauvelt, NY. I was there last December and it took them 5 weeks to fix my 4 minor issues I had. This morn the service advisor told me a tech will look at it today and get back to me tomorrow with a diagnosis and ETA on when it would be done. She said it will be under a week. We will see but so far that is great!

Side note, they didn’t have any loaners as they are transferring their IL plates to NY and it is taking longer than it should. So off to enterprise. Got a 2025 X5 plug in hybrid. Some things are nice and others make no sense to me. Really makes me miss my R1T already!!!

The Roswell service center opening in the ATL area has done wonders for me, personally. A lot quicker availability and much shorter drive for myself. Having other service centers open in SC, north FL and NC has also helped relief the once maligned ATL service center and its several month backlog. I've unfortunately had to bring my car in a few times, but each time the cost to me was $0 and all of my issues have been resolved. Glad they keep ramping, as I'm sure the R2 rollout will likely require all hands on deck. I'm not too worried about their future, personally.

Last appt in Malvern was good, 3 weeks out is getting better. They only had it for 36 hours to fix issues that Richmond left me when they replaced my entire HVAC. Just salty no loaner, Enterprise only had a Model 3 or a Camry. Can't believe I had a Model 3 for 18 months, felt like a sardine can.

Previous appt in Richmond when I got a critical battery issue on vacation was awful. Took them 2.5 weeks to diagnose, almost no communication during, they never returned calls and their work was incomplete and sloppy.

Using Hudson NH for the first time now that it’s opened. Chelsea has been pretty good to me, nice people, but it’s often very busy, so I’m hoping this is a bit smoother overall. Still waiting for a Portland ME SC!
