Steering Wheel Not Centered

Mine has the same problem. The truck tracks straight and the steering wheel is off the same direction as yours, but mine is only off by maybe 10-15 degrees (not a full hour = 30 degrees). It's not a big enough reason for me to make a service appointment. I'm going to wait until I have a bigger problem.

Same here; mine's off by maybe 5 or 10 degrees.

Same issue here. It's at the Bellevue, WA SC right now after a major breakdown. The off-center steering/ alignment is one of the things they should be checking.
(Been that way since day one...10/1 delivery)

I am having this same issue on my R1S. I have a SC appointment for it next Monday.

I had my steering wheel slightly off as well after delivery. I did not notice until I was a couple hours away from the delivery center unfortunately. Midway through the drive, it would not let me do driver+ but then a day later it allowed me to put it in to Driver+.
For anyone that has had the alignment done, how long was your vehicle at the SC? My closest SC is 3 hours away and I am trying to figure out if it is a down and back type thing or if I need to make arraignments to drop off and pick up later.

Same here since day 1. About 10 degree left steering input requires to drive straight. Left or right crown, centered. Road conditions don’t matter it always pulls to the right. Had it aligned at my SC before the holiday. Road trip from Chicago to MI and back and it’s … worse than before. When the wheel is at 0 degrees, always pulls to the right. It’s in the SC again today for that and a few other things so we’ll see if they can get it straightened out.

It’s day 2 and not sure when will be done. I’m out of town for the weekend so the timing was good for me to have it in the SC.

When driving on the freeway it would track better but still slight drift to the right. Took it in for service appt today and was surprised my readings were that much off. No wonder it was going to the right. Vehicle will pull to the most positive camber and negative caster. Front and rear toe was off pretty bad too.

Yes it’s much better maybe .5 degree off center on the freeway but tracks straight. I could adjust the tie rods equal and opposite amounts to center the steering wheel perfectly but would probably have to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. Done that plenty of times when I did wheel alignments

For those with an R1T, is your steering wheel perfectly centered when traveling down a straight road? I took delivery this weekend and my steering wheel isn't level when traveling down a straight, non-crowned road. I had service try to correct this issue twice but my steering wheel still is off center (sits more in the 8 - 2-o-clock position than a level 9 - 3-o-clock position). The service tech insisted it was perfect, but it clearly isn't. I've never had this issue with a new car previously and wondering if anyone else has the same problem. The car tracks straight and they checked the alignment twice, but steering wheel is still a little off center.

I had the same issue and also drifts, goes to the right if you center the star/compass on the steering wheel. Service did an alignment but the tech guy was playing it down, making some garbage explanation.
it’s not that obvious anymore or maybe I just stop noticing it.

Mine does the same thing. Seems better on the highway. It shouldn't be this hard to get the alignment right. I am assuming caster is not adjustable? Was the alignment performed under warranty or did you have to pay out of pocket?

Mine also has slight misalignment to the left, as many of the RT1's.

Question - was anybody able to resolve this with Rivian SC?

I have an appointment on July 6th, but if they just BS us, makes no sense to spend time on them now...

just got my R1T back from the SC, they said its fixed. same issue as most. steering wheel needed to be a few degrees turned to the left in order to have the truck track straight. same issue remains, its not fixed.
