Does this look too close to the vehicle? Will be towing a T@b400 with it. I don't think I need a hitch extender but wondering if this is ok or I need to try and find one with a longer shank. Thanks.

You're fine. That's seems as close as mine, (maybe yours is a bit closer?) and I tow a 16' Sol Dawn (roughly the same size as your T@B400)

Ok I'm gonna drive it over to the camper this wknd and hitch it up and may post again cuz I'm paranoid lol. I read somewhere if too close could hit your vehicle if on a tight turn. Need to check the height too I guess. This is the one I use on the Ranger which sits up higher (although she was in kneel mode when I took this pic). Thank you!

IM so paranoid, I would test a hook up and then go on a test run, just to make sure all was good.

That will be the next level of paranoia after I think I like the hook up lol. Woth someone watching it while I make a tight turn. :)

It's fine. I have the same one, inverted for the height of my trailers.

You really need some grease on that hitch ball. :)

It's fine as is, but don't do an extender. Get a longer hitch instead.

No, you need to chain up! And clean up that surface rust.
I just mean the distance from the vehicle. I am not towing today, just planning ahead with the fit of it. Gonna get it cleaned before next trip. :)

One of my hitches has maybe 1/4" of room before hitting the bumper as it goes down. Still works fine, but there's a big risk of it hitting the bumper when trying to line up.
