Sort of a noob to this forum so not quite sure how, but I’ll give it a go if it does deliver like it should on Monday. So many on here are having delivery struggles I just hope it all works out. Rivian has had my money for over a week now. Feels strange to send all that money and be paying insurance on something you are hoping will appear on a future date.Awesome. I can see how that would create some anxiety. The good part is that you have a delivery date. Exciting for you all in the Beehive State and for me! I left Park City in 2020 after order placed in early 2019 for R1S LE LG FE, with delivery now “promised” for May-June ’22. Anticipating picking it up in SLC if Rivian does not truck it up here to the wilds of Wyoming. Now I can plan to visit the SLC service center in mid April to check it out. What memories in 2019 picking up my Tesla and driving up Parley’s. I would rather pick up the R1S in SLC and have the fun of driving it to Evanston and north, or up “15” if the chargers necessitate that route. Shalom.I can see how that would create some anxiety. Coalville, UT to Jackson is 230 miles. I think that will be cutting it close in a large pack R1T. You could do a diversion to Bear Lake where there’s a 50kW CCS.I would rather pick up the R1S in SLC and have the fun of driving it to Evanston and north, or up “15” if the chargers necessitate that route. Is there no charger in Evanston? I am used to the Tesla supercharger there and have not checked yet for the Rivian.Coalville, UT to Jackson is 230 miles. I think that will be cutting it close in a large pack R1T. You could do a diversion to Bear Lake where there’s a 50kW CCS.
Just Tesla as of now. I read somewhere that EA was installing one at Smiths in Evanston, but haven’t gone by there yet to verify. No mention of it on EA website, not even “coming soon” on there map. One would think that if it was under construction it would show as coming soon ?‍Is there no charger in Evanston? I am used to the Tesla supercharger there and have not checked yet for the Rivian.

Replying to my own post. Drove to Evanston, WY today where there was purported to be an EA charging station under construction at the Smiths grocery store.Just Tesla as of now. I got my invite too. Scheduled for this Saturday.I got an email for SLC First Mile test drive today! I’ve scheduled it for next Wednesday and they are bringing the truck to me in Park City.
I changed my config last night from Forest Edge to Black Mountain. Wonder if that had anything to do with the timing of the invite? ?‍
it’s getting real!
I am not sure it works that way. I don't have a guide assigned, but am in the March/April delivery group. It may be that these are two separate groups scheduling activities and one is not related to the other.I am in Park city and got the first drive invite yesterday as well. Does anyone have any idea how long it usually is from First Drive to actual delivery?
