My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
Yeah - same for me. I am getting considerably better than that on average, though, at about 2.5mi/kwh lifetime (1400-ish miles). And for longer trips, have consistently gotten 2.75+ in Conserve at highway speeds.

So … ? Looks like they just made the estimates static based on fleet-wide averages or something.

I will say, it blows my mind some of the efficiency numbers others get. I know I accelerate too hard and drive too fast in general, but I'm usually doing 75 or under and my lifetime over 5k miles right now is ~1.75m/kwh. I almost never use conserve (used it a bit on a trip to Idaho and back) but still don't think I should be averaging so low compared to others. Very strange.

I guess that's subjective! But it now reads about 193-195 @ 70% on 20s.
That's what mine reads. When you click on the range for each mode under the charging menu does it still say 270 and 293?

Yep. But I really never drive in any mode other than AP.

Took a trip to LA and back and my screen says this now. With the 21 inch wheels. I drove VERY conservatively. Getting better than EPA ratings!

These are very good numbers but, for clarity they are consistent with EPA numbers not better I believe. EPA of 315 with the 21" wheels using a combo of drive modes over the 5 cycle test... did we ever confirm that was the case?

Do you maintain a steady speed or do a lot of jockeying? Following too close and using regen heavily kills my efficiency.

If I can't get around someone I always try to maintain a steady speed a reasonable distance behind them - enough room to stop but still close enough to get a tiny bit of drafting benefit.

I'm definitely not constantly on and off the regen/accelerator as I see some drivers do.

I'm right there with you, I don't understand these really high mile/kwh ratings. I'm also 1.75 but only at 1000 miles so far. I chalk most of it up to colder temps and the batteries needing to condition themselves? The couple times that is has been over 55 degrees here I've seen the 15 min rating averaging 2.25 -2.4 in all-purpose. This morning I was only getting 1.4 :( ...and not aggressive at all

I'm averaging 1.8 mi/kwh lifetime but it keeps dwindling down. Was 2.1 first 2 weeks I had it. Range estimate is static and never changes.

I would love to know how some of us have efficiency that is 50% less than others. I live in Texas so it's not cold temps and even D+ can't touch 1.9mi/kwh anymore.

Texas still gets pretty chilly. Heat in the Rivian is "expensive" because it's resistive heat.

My numbers on the 20" ATs were always 293/270/260. At some point the Sport Mode went up to 267. After the last software update they have been 293/274/267. (I have also been running Nokian LT3s for the last month which would have made me expect the numbers to have gone down.)

Temps in the 60s all week and I'm at 1.78mi/kwh

What kind of drives do you typically do? Mode most driving is done in, tires? If you're averaging 57mph over 7400 miles I'm guessing most driving is longer highway drives, and the battery comes to temperature.

I have seen 2.2-2.4 fairly recently when I've driven 60-65mph and the drive was long enough to let the battery warm up. In all-purpose, normal height, all-terrains. Most of my driving though is relatively short, about 16 miles and 25 minutes. By the end of the drive the numbers always come up, but getting the battery up to temp absolutely kills the efficiency initially.
