Extra warranty miles for distance to service center.

My service center is 2 hours away. I've driven there probably 6 times. Do you know if they will extend warranty miles for the distance it takes to get to a service center?

No - and I dont think there should be any expectation - as you are the one driving the R1.

Full context - I asked for similar in my R1T - as at one point of the 6k miles on it (at the time). ~3K had been done by Rivian whist in for warranty work. I didn't expect to get a positive outcome, but figured if you don't ask...

What kind of warranty work could possibly require Rivian to drive the vehicle 3k miles?!?!?

I'm sure they'll be happy to reimburse you for electricity used too...

I live 2 hours away from closest service ctr. Rivian gave me a loaner that they paid for including the fuel to drive home and back for the service time in the shop that they warrantied, Luxury car too.

When I bought my R1T, I knew the closest service ctr. at that time was over 2 hrs. away from me. I bought anyway, it felt risky, but when I found out that some service could be done with a remote service van comming to my house, I was very happy. Twice I was serviced by the remote service van. Once for warranty 12 vdc battery replacement, another to deliver/install tires because no tire place anywhere near me had the 21" tires. The closest was over 1,000 miles away. I was charged the $65. service fee plus the tire price that was the par price. The service tech was fantastic too.
