When I see another Rivian in time, I flash my high beam headlights.

Flash the brights. Jeep wave (practiced by my wife when she is driving her Wrangler) tends to get less response.

Flash my hazards, wave frantically, give the peace sign ..... Some from the Central Oregon group just suggested getting some of these -

You have to form the Rivian logo to every Rivian driver you see

Hmmm, without Driver+ on that could be a short wave......

This is my submission. It does take some practice. You might only notice it as my truck is crashing into a ditch or a building or your vehicle.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
Gun fingers, and I make “pew pew“ sounds, while holding the steering wheel.

It probably looks like I’m pointing at the roof like there’s something wrong with their truck while simultaneously blowing them a kiss.

Legitimate, even if bad, ideas IF this community feels compelled to have a special wave.

Option 1: Three middle fingers spread to make a “W” with a wavelength motion (like what your arm does when you stick it out the window). This is a nod to American sign language for moving water. (Was playing off Indian River as name origin for Rivian… but river requires two hands in ASL).

Option 2: Sideways middle 3 fingers extended like a E. E for electric and to signify the first three vehicles developed at the same time, R1T, R1S, and EDV. Yes I know this is not how you do an E in ASL.

I personally like option 2 best.

My neighbor is probably sick of me. Has had a T for a few months. I'm waiting on my S. I stop by and chat whenever I see him outside.

I flash the beams if they are oncoming, pump the brakes (or let off the accelerator in one pedal mode) a few times if I see them behind me. If I see one at an intersection while we are waiting for the light, I give “the nod” or a casual one handed “Yo” wave.
