Bird Chirp Upon Locking

My chirp is too loud IMO. Would like a volume settings for it if possible.

just noticed this last night. But pressing lock on the fob after truck has already been locked for some time resulted in a sound I’ve not heard before. A sort of chime in addition to the bird. Anyone else hear this?

Right on, we should have a whole selection of sounds and the ability to choose volume. Until then for those who can't hear the sounds I recommend hearing aids. Works wonders for me and I can just turn them down when my wife is thinking up chores for me to do and claim dead batteries.

We like the locking bird chirp on our R1T. Is there any way to increase the volume of the chirp? By the time she locks, we are at a distance where we can't hear the chirp.

Resurrecting this thread and revisiting the idea of having sound options when the vehicle is locked. While the current sound satisfies all the bird-watching dads, I, on the other hand, am annoyed by it. The birds in my area produce the same or similar sounds as the Rivian, confusing me and making me think that the car got locked. I would love to have an option to choose a normal car sound like the Little Blue Truck - Beep Beep.

I don't feel confused -- but my parents taught me to appreciate bird sounds, so my brain may make more distinctions than some (but many fewer than a true birdwatcher).

My concern is more practical, and applies even to those who recognize a Rivian chirp. When ours is the only nearby Rivian, we know a Rivian chirp is ours -- but when there are many nearby Rivians, how will we know?

This isn't just theoretical -- my wife's R1T will be parked at the same workplace as "my" R1S, and we often get to work around the same time.

We'll figure it out -- but, as it sells more in some markets, Rivian should consider introducing an increasingly large number of variations on the audible "I'm locked now" signal.

I think I had my truck for at least a month before I figured out the bird chirp, never noticed it.

Exactly. iPhone ring tones were not easily personalizable in the early days. Now it's child's play to customized most everything on the iPhone.
