Did you mention it increased since the last update (assuming it is for you)? I don’t think that is expected.I opened a ticket on 8/24 and it was closed stating 1-4% loss is to be expected.
It can't possibly be that a 4% daily loss is acceptable. For a Gen 1 Large battery pack like mine, that would mean 5.4 kWh per day in energy consumption while sitting.I opened a ticket on 8/24 and it was closed stating 1-4% loss is to be expected.

I agree. This is totally unacceptable as an answer and battery drain. If this is what was expected why wasn’t this feature listed in the release notes of the last update. I do think customers would want to be informed about an additional 2-3% drain. ?It can't possibly be that a 4% daily loss is acceptable. It's a bit more complicated than that.'You don't need to tell me'. I am upset with even 1%. When I saw 4%, I rolled my eyes. Especially when Wasym is quoted as saying 1mi per day which is 1/3 of a %.
If most VD/PD is indeed just 12V battery maintenance, I feel like this is a simple fix with a better algorithm.
If <50% for >24hrs maintain
If >50% for <24hrs do not maintain
Obviously that is generic and not exactly what is needed, but if I am going to drive in the morning or even have a charge event, then who cares if there is some 12V drain. *Within the ranges of keeping the 12V healthy. OR just get a different 12V battery chem.
If you're talking about this in regards to Connect+, there's nothing requiring an update to allow Rivian to cut off your vehicle's connectivity. I haven't seen anything indicating this update will be forced onto those who don't want to update.Unfortunately you will not be able to put this one off forever. If I remember correctly it will get pushed in a small amount of time.

That just says you'll receive the download. It doesn't say they're going to force install it. It's already been weeks since the update rolled out to everyone. This was in an email from Rivian:

Ok, mis-read it. Thanks for the clarification. That just says you'll receive the download. It doesn't say they're going to force install it. It's already been weeks since the update rolled out to everyone.
I wonder if this is a sign of a 12v battery near it's end of life...Yep ... my VD when from ~0.8% per day to ~2% per day according to Electrafi. If I drive or charge the vehicle, it will cycle to 1hr sleep / 30 min wake. After about 12 hrs, it goes to 30min sleep/ 15 min wake. I put in a service ticket, no response yet. Super frustrating!!!
