You get it. You just choose to be willfully ignorant. Most people charge at their home. When are they going to watch a show in their vehicle?
I just don’t understand why this is important to Rivian owners.
Yes, that would be awesome!now if they can figure a work around for waze
No. It works just like casting from your iPhone to any Google Cast enabled TV and/or devices (Chrome Cast, Amazon Fire Stick, etc.). Once set up, the infotainment screen will show among list of available devices to stream to. Watch walkthrough video of OTA at riviantrakr.com.Hi
If you own an iphone, do you need to download a particular app to allow you to chromecast a movie to the Rivian? I charge at home so far 100% of the time and this would provide some entertainment while waiting for my kids to get out of whatever class/event I'm picking them up from. This would be my use case.
Appreciate the video and any guidance.
Thanks!
Imagine this, you live in coastal British Columbia, and in order to see family, or go to your house, you need to take a ferry. Unfortunately, that ferry is usually over booked and you may have to wait for up to 3 hours in a ferry terminal before even getting on the 45-90 minute ferry ride. Sure you could walk around the other cars, grab a coffee, point at the ocean... but what do I do for the other 2.5 hours?Ok, so when will you use it?
Agree, but it does make for a great MAN CAVE at home. ?I just don’t get the use case.
The update isn’t out for everyone yet and I was hoping to see some specifics of how it worksI don't know why anyone would watch a video showing that something just works like it does on every other device. But I guess you could cast it to your Rivian.
Some of us chill in our cars during kids football games or gymnastics classes, or when charging, or if the power goes out and you want heat and entertainment.I just don’t get the use case. I’m going to pay for connect+ so I can watch a show for.20 minutes will I charge on the road?
