I'm supposed to pick up a new work phone today and I hope it isn't another monster sized Iphone Pro Super Max 14 or whatever they call it, like my last one. I've had so many work phones and nothing compares to the Galaxy Note 10 Ultra I had a few years ago that they snagged from me and replaced with that apple.

Nice! Wonder if we'll ever see Waze reports integration now that we have the Google Maps backend.

Seems like it is inevitable since google maps on the phone has that ability now not sure if it is waze data or just google map submissions though.

I think like existing Maps, Satellite view an place photos/names are only available on Connect+, but it seems like everything else, including GMaps and real-time traffic are there for everyone.

Does Rivian call the in-car infotainment "the mobile app?" Because it's pretty confusing (they're not talking about the iOS/Android app right)?

This release brings all of these updates into the Rivian mobile app, plus more new-to-mobile features to help with planning your next adventure. In the mobile app we’ve added place photos, place descriptions and satellite view (with a Connect+ subscription), as well as the ability to see traffic and traffic incidents.

Not quite. One of the significant changes (hence making it a “gen 2”) was the suspension changes, which included the cross linked, hydraulic anti roll system.

As a person that tunes suspension for performance use, I can’t imagine those drive modes being done on the gen 1 hardware.
