Are you using the standard slide mount?

No. I have the beartech magnetic mount.

Looks good. How much space is it between the mount and the base of the cover? Did you run the wire for the comma yet thru the side panel ?

To clean the tint on the windshield, I used chemical guys cleaner first, then invisible glass which is safe for tint and finally 50/50 isopropyl solution to clean and then attached the Comma 3x mount.

edit: One good point made by @gerrylum is that If you want the Comma in the center of the windshield, you need to align it with the mirror stump which is in the actual center of the windshield. I will do that for sure on my magnetic mount.

I mounted the beartech. I positioned it directly under the mirror stalk and about half an inch toward the driver side by mistake. I tried to renposition it but it stuck pretty good. I bought two sets of beartech magnet and 8 degree wedge since I was planning to put in both of my Rivians but now I'm only gonna use one. So I have extra set if u want it

Thanks Gerry. Such a nice drive home after installation. Would have finish faster if we figured out to put car in sleep faster. My wifi on the phone was on and keep connect to the vehicle hotspot

So, the 3M tape came with beartech mount didn't stay on long enough. I do have tint on my windshield. I thought it stuck pretty good, but it came off yesterday. I did cure it for 3 days before putting the comma on. Any tips of tricks to get it to stay on?

Question for the experts out there. I found a good deal on a Comma 3 not 3X. Will the 3 work with the Lukas upgrade or even basic open pilot

Glad to see another successful install with Lukas harness setup.

I am seriously planning my trip now to Colorado for Fall break thanks to Comma 3x which will do most of the heavy lifting so I can enjoy the off-road trails.

When you ready to install the mount, make sure you use 3m adhesive promotor . It is working so far and not coming off the tinted windshield
