'Morning
As the title says, potential new owner & have Qs.
About me: I'll be trading out my Lucid AGT(3.5 years of ownership) for TriMax, if we decide to move forward. I have owned a couple of MS as an early adopter as well.
Primary reason for change: Lucid AGT software reliability.(Don't want to bring out the dirty laundry in this forum).
1) I understand from what I read, Rivian's software is a lot more stable than Lucid. However, with that said, what are the most annoying software gremlins the owners have faced?
2) Build quality: I have read about suspension issues. Are they common across the board? Panel gaps? How is the build quality? I understand, after owning multiple vehicles, things do fall apart, but would like to get insight of anything that is more common than not.
3) Test drove Dual and Tri. Same road, same drive settings, same test route, but the tri felt more comfortable. We could feel the road on the dual, but the tri was more comfortable. Does the tri have 'better' suspension? Or is it the seats on the tri that much better?
4) For current owners: If you had to replace your R1S, what will you replace it with today?
5) For any Lucid transplants, here, please DM your opinions. What you liked and disliked?
Our goal, if we switch, is to get an EV. We have owned ICE German cars and brand loyalty is not high on the list for me. Storage space is important (Lucid does this best imo), and a reliable drive. Staying away from MB for now. Audi & BMW are option.
Concerned if I jump from Lucid to Rivian, will it be akin to from fire into boiling oil?
Thank you all in advance. I'm sure I will have more Qs based on the responses.
Happy hols
