I'm curious what the max total wheel/tire OD the R2 can fit without rubbing or other issues. I may just swap out OEM for aftermarket. Hopefully range doesn't take too big of a hit, but I plan for weekday commuting most of the time anyway.

All the tires are 32". They look pretty tight, but you might be able to size up a touch without much issue. I'm planning on trying to size up, but it might require lifting the vehicle.

Is there a mistake in the comparison page for R2 on the Rivian website? It says under Premium 20” all season wheels are standard and 21” all season wheels are optional. It then shows the Performance wheel and the square dot wheel from the standard (which is all terrain).
I thought the Premium had the same design as Performance as standard.

Not what I see. For Performance it says 21" AS are standard, optional are 20" all-terrain. The small image of the 20" AT wheel is not the same as the 20" square-dot style. Void between the bladed spokes is white (pop-up layer background color). For square-dot, the square shapes are gray to represent the machined AL surface.

Thanks I was thinking the mistake was for the Premium trim and the image shows the default wheels being the same 21” design as the Performance.

Maybe not a mistake but intentional marketing strategy? If you look at standard, they also rendered the car with the optional wheels. And with performance, they flipped it. They probably didn't render the car with the optional AT wheels because the off-pavement crowd is probably not their core audience for this model? Or, a design department decision because they feel the larger wheels look better for each of the trims.

Can't wait for when the dark out rims come for some of these. Have seen on a few MVB's and they look great

@LivingInKaos saw

5x114.3 +38 offset, 64.141 hub
5x114.3? so a different pattern than the R1?
Yep, it was stamped on the back of the wheels that were on display in the Roadhouse.

Yes, different than the R1's - BUT, this is a much more common size. You may hear it more as 5x4.5 in Brit/American measurements. This bolt pattern is one that is on most mid-size SUV's, some heavier cars. Interestingly, the offset isn't as extreme inboard as the R1's are compared to others.

Weird. When we talked about it on Heylo I thought we were saying it was the same size most likely. Darn!

Yeah, I was running by what I was told by an employee at the time.
