I'm not saying I'd buy a few dozen of these things...
..but I'm also not ready to discard the possibility of this becoming everyone's holiday/birthday present if it were ever to become a reality

I worry about that too but I think 4G has another good 15 years. Regular 5G, nit mm wave, isn’t that much faster than 4G so it will stick around longer than 3G did. Hopefully the R2 and gen 3 R1 has 5G.
