There are a couple of threads on here of users who took road trips in Canada, but that's about it (other than the Vancouver office truck as mentioned). I was lucky enough to see a California plated one on the highway here months ago (who then posted on here about a road trip to Whistler) and got to have my fan boy moment hanging out the window.Hey all. I have been seeing reports that there are some Rivian's in Canada. Are these road trip vehicles or Canadian purchasers? Also, if anybody would happen to have a Rivian R1T, please see if TuxMat (Toronto area) is still in need of a specimen. I am almost certain they are. I think they would sell really well if we can just get them measured and spec'd out. These are the best mats you can get for any vehicle.
Pretty much given up expecting anything productive from these clowns this year!Couple of days away from September and the silence is still deafening...
I saw on one site that the Customer Engagement center is open in Vancouver BC. They seem to think they still may make some deliveries in Canada the end of this year. There’s supposed to be an announcement?!
That's news to me. Maybe they were confused with their development team office?I saw on one site that the Customer Engagement center is open in Vancouver BC. They seem to think they still may make some deliveries in Canada the end of this year.
It is the internet so it could be wrong…… This is from RS, most of the stuff I see there is pretty reliable. That's news to me. Maybe they were confused with their development team office?
Yes someone did receive a response from customer service, mentioning their new customer engagement centre. But there was no wider announcement or press release.I saw on one site that the Customer Engagement center is open in Vancouver BC. RE: bolded one, screw that give me bill of sale and NVIS and I’ll take it to the insurance broker down the road and have plates in 10 minutes.Judging by the list of positions that need to be filled in Vancouver on the Rivian website, I think we are still a few months away

Field Service Tech
Senior Field Specialist
Manager Delivery & Operations
Title and Registration Operations (Big one at least)
Sr. Field Service Launch Technician West Canada

So it looks like the BC/Alberta orders will likely be fulfilled first. My guess is that GTA then Montreal would be next since they're likely the next on the list for SCsJudging by the list of positions that need to be filled in Vancouver on the Rivian website, I think we are still a few months away

I saw the same thing (and thought it'd be time to come out of lurking). I thought by now we'd get an update on the planned Vancouver Rivian Service centre. Guessing it's still crickets? The article I read said the plans were for this fall...I saw on one site that the Customer Engagement center is open in Vancouver BC. I saw an article in automotive news talking about service centres, the Rivian person interviewed pointedly mentioned the Vancouver one as opening “late fall”I saw the same thing (and thought it'd be time to come out of lurking).
