My current one has 14 foot foot cable it is this one VC30XXXU*I need to back my R1T into the garage. It's tedious at first but you get used to it after a week or two. It's not as easy as just pulling in when you get home...but it's much quicker and easier when your heading out.
I don't recommend an "extender". The safe options are back in or relocate the charger. I am assuming your current charger already has a 24ft cable. If it doesn't then you may also be able to replace the charger as mentioned above.
I second the recommendation for the J1772 Tesla wall connector. I have two Tesla WC on my garage and they load share 60 amps total.
I actually prefer backing in now after enough "practice". Makes loading or unloading the trunk from the house a breeze since it's right in front of the door to the house now.I need to back my R1T into the garage. Probably cheaper to just buy a new EVSE with a longer cable than it would be to move the charger.great thanks all
