Yup, it's definitely ideal to have one. I'm hoping they figure out the sound level by the time gen3 lands. My GF's Blazer EV has a heatpump and that thing is loud as well. It's just how they are.Ok so the savings, if regular driving is ~40kW, could be about 10% with the heat pump. That is actually pretty material. I would still prefer the resistive heater but 10% range is not nothing.
