Halloween Theme Car Costumes Gone?

I still have. Gen 1, but be mindful a battery drain. I didn’t realize I had to turn it off and went from 73% battery to now 58%, with the car being parked at my work place. There are a couple of other Rivian’s here and cann see that they have the Halloween mode on, given the outside light bar. Hope they don’t come back to a trick and not a treat!

by the way, for all of us Gen 1’srs, it seems like our light bar is capable of going side to side, similar to Gen 2’s, but for some reason they have chosen to block that for us.

Rivian Reddit page states Rivian disabled it for Gen 2 temporarily due to the lights not turning on issue.

I think its mostly because the front light bar for Gen 1 can't do red. So they can't do the KITT look. However, it can obviously do white (DRLs), so not sure why they did not have the strobing effect with the Back to the Future skin.

I'm assuming it's because of the blinker bug. There's no way they'd leave the feature live if it's a safety concern.
