It was interesting to see what others are paying... So I went and looked mine up.
We have 50'sF, 50'sM and 18F and occasional driver 20F in NE KS. All with clean driving records and the young drivers driving since 14.
2022 Rivian R1T 1910/yr with auto owners through an independent agent.
Bodily Injury 500k person/500k occurrence
Property Damage 300k occurrence
Uninsured 500k person/500k occurrence
Personal Injury basic Medical 4500/person
Comprehensive ACV 1000 deductible with full glass
Collison ACV 1000 deductible with waiver (whatever that means).

I have the same full coverage on a 2020 Mazda cx5 for 1278/yr (used to be 50'sF driver)
and liability only on 2006 Ford F150 for 817/yr (18F daily driver)
and liability only on 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 for 363/yr (50'sM daily driver)

$1000/yr with $1000 deductibles, used to be $650 in 2023, $750 in 2024, wondering if anyone else see this kind of hike... Costs more than my Huracan EVO to insure now.

More expensive because we have our 20 year old still on our policy. Although his 2022 WRX costs $1,587.70/6mo! Removing him from our policy would save us about $2400/6mo (so the Rivan's cost would drop another ~$500,) but his insurance by himself would be over $3500/6mo!!! Yeah, we leave him on our insurance. He can't afford the insurance on his own yet.

Bump up your collision to $2500. Is the car replacement assistance worth it? Pretty steep premium for that. Also check with other carriers of course.

I was going to post that about 2 weeks ago I switched from another carrier to Geico. I saved over 6k a year across all of our cars! We were over 10k for all of cars and now down to 4k. Which is pretty incredible since we live in Dallas.

Make sure you check your credit before you shop. Most insurers check it and it can save you quite a bit if you time it right, if your score fluctuates a bit.

Cross post here if you want to see a longer point of reference on USAA. Quick version;

1. My USAA rate previous to R1T was $1200/yr
2. replaced a car, added a R1T - $1800/yr
3. recently told them about 16yr son getting a license and they are asking $7000/yr!

Clean record, great credit, kid is honor roll w/ drivers ed. Didn't help a bit. Geico and Rivian Insurance are quoting closer to the $1800/yr as long as I leave him off.
