R1S beginning of Sept 2021. My original window was 1H 2023 but I had OC and 22s at the time. I've since changed to BM and 21s.

Haven't received the new window so I've assumed 2H 2023 now. Just odd to have a mobile drive so far in advance, IMO

I had my mobile drive event in December of 2021. First order was earlier that year.
Current "estimated" delivery windows are July/Aug 2022 and 1H2023. Not sure we can directly correlate mobile drive dates with estimated order dates. There is a number of available mobile drive dates available and they get assigned on a first available basis.

i don't think this is how they work or if it is supposed to be how it works... its not working.

ive seen posts of people getting mobile drives only a month or two after they ordered in 2022. like their delivery process, it doesn't appear to have any discernable logic.

Your delivery will be when your delivery is. Your timing of a mobile drive has nothing to do with it.

People slam Rivian CS but let's stop wasting their time and maybe they can do better when they get legitimate questions.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but clearly CS doesn't know when your delivery will be.

Disagree. CS has explicitly stated that they are prioritizing mobile drives for customers based on how early their deliveries are. Whether they are sticking to this in practice is questionable, but that does not make OP's question unreasonable.

Ok, guy. Bizarre to ask if your mobile drive is in any way linked with delivery window? Sure.

You act like I said hey lady do you know my specific day of delivery for this vehicle?

You should sign up, have your R1T visible in the driveway when they show up and pretend like it isn't there and that this is your first time driving one.

I'm not sure that CS know if that's true or not. I had my mobile drive a month ago and my delivery date is 2H 2023 (max pack)

Yea it's all very haphazard on their part, both on messaging and what they're doing in practice. CS told me they are prioritizing R1S mobile drives based on delivery; yet, OP is an R1S preorder holder in the same location as me, preordered more than a year after me, and yet gets an invite to a mobile drive before me.

That aside, I think it's still a valid question for OP to ask CS whether getting a mobile drive means a delivery is expected sooner rather than later. Because that's what they have led me to believe at least.
