Has anyone done anything to make the front end look less cartoonish? Any cool wraps, deletes, etc that temper the feminine look? I’ve had my R1T for about 6 months and just bought a R1S but the front end kills me.

The R2 will reflect the Rivian style with updates. It’s likely they’ll take the front end to the next level within the next six months , whatever that may be.

Counterpoint: My wife fell in love with the Rivian R1S entirely because it looks like a Range Rover with a "cute and friendly" nose instead of looking like a digital pug dog.

Yep! I know some love it and I’m not putting that down. I’d just prefer something different and am curious what others have tried. I love most everything about the R1s but I do wish it looked a little more like something that belongs off-road. Mine gets driven off-road as much as on. It looks a little too fragile and cute for my taste. I’m more the Land Rover Defender type. ??

I think most here can respect that someone might not be a fan of the Rivian face. It's the perception of manliness, or suggested lack of, that draws laughter. That and the use of the word strokes and wad in the same post.

I can also guarantee that any mods people might think makes the Rivian look more manly is going to come across like a balding man's combover. Just learn to rock what you've got.

Why get 2 of them if the design bother you?
There’s very little that can be done on these R1s.
From inside you can’t see the front. Actually, you can’t see the front unless you’re in front of it.
Someone is going to sell a ridiculous bull bar that could help you. Search the forum for it.

More "manly"... that's a tough one. Not sure what your definition of manly is but I suspect putting eyelashes above the stadium lights would be bad.

Less "cartoonish" is a bit more descriptive. People have said that before about the front. It's in the "eyes" and there's not much to be done without it getting tacky looking, but people have tried.

Editing the post was probably a good idea, but I know what you meant by “manly.” People have been doing stuff to make the front ends of Jeeps more aggressive, but the wraps and stuff tend to look really tacky IMO. I don’t think there are options for Rivian right now other than getting some custom bars or wraps.

Although I’m not a fan of the front end, it’s definitely grown on me. If Rivian succeeds as a brand and becomes a long term player, the front end will be iconic. It’s a lot like Porsche (or so I tell myself!), which I don’t think is considered not “manly.” If Porsche was a startup, however, I bet people would be saying the same thing as they do about Rivian’s front end. 70 years of racing heritage buys a lot of credibility!

WARNING TO ALL:

Enough with the trolling and ganging up mentality. Simple and plain enough question/topic. Don't like it? SIMPLY MOVE ON. I've noticed this trolling pattern happening more and more and action will be taken.

This applies not only to this thread, but all threads/topics on this site.

Might help if you provide everyone with some examples of which trucks you consider looking “manly”. Also, what does your presence in a tourist meca have anything to do with the thread?
