For what it's worth, the only thing I did with our R1S at 7,500 was a tire rotation (and state inspection, but that's a different story). I think they want to change the cabin filter, but my ride hasn't been on any dusty roads so I waited for that. I'll let others chime in, but there's not a lot of service required on these rides (unless you're one of the unlucky ones with issues).

El Segundo, CA service center. Mobile service had come out to my house for some other work and he told me I should be good to wait until 10k+ for rotation, but I had other service scheduled so I had them do this.

It's a tyre rotation and check up. I had mobile service do it. I put my request in at 7k miles knowing they were backed up a bit.

I did it in Miami. It was $295 and included a $60 tire rotation, a $195 super lengthy checklist and $35 air filter. I didn’t have anything wrong so nothing to repair. Didn’t wait long for all of this. Took me more than 3 weeks from scheduling to completion. Very satisfied. While I was there saw Gen 2-for me, not worth spending any $$,$$$ to update but I can see how the tri or quad would be a great car. I’m quite satisfied with my quad.

Just scheduled mine and for me it's just to get them to look at everything in the truck. I'd rather have them go over it and catch things so they don't become bigger problems. I would think they test the 12V batteries (GA summers cook them in my ICE vehicles, so will probably cook them in the Rivian) and look at the suspension, motors, etc...

Anything they catch at one of these services is one less thread on here about a multitude of different things that have gone wrong. They can replace whatever they want and with Uber credits, they can have it for as long as they want.

Had to add alignment to my 7500 and the estimate is $360 (5 wheel rotation, multi-point inspection, alignment). Truck is in the SC now, so we’ll see.

I had no issues that I knew of but the mobile service tech found 2 issues at the service appointment. A little rattle in the dash and the weather stripping around the lift gate was peeling off. He said to put a service ticket on for those and I did and had tose 2 fixed with another mobile appointment. The tech spent 45 minutes and was pretty thorough. Took it for a test drive. Worth the $100. I got my tires rotated at Costco for free prior to the service visit.

Kind of weak this isnt free. Tire rotation and balance could be done at Discount tire for free. Air filter replacement is a piece of cake.

Same, bought a filter from one of the vendors on here and took a few minutes to install and rotated at discount tire for free. Remember many parts of the US don't have America/Discount tire. I did schedule 22500 service and have to wait 3+ mo, I'm at 20k now so may be over by that point.

I scheduled my 7,500 mile service and they told me $160 including tire rotation. Then I got this notification to "approve and sign" an estimate with ABSOLUTELY NO DETAIL for $374.10. I called and they something about wiper blades and a cabin filter. Ford and Audi pulled this kind of crap - I thought better of Rivian.

I shall drill deeper to warn others.

Did a 7500 mile service at Chelsea SC (Boston) earlier this month. $100 for tire rotation and rebalancing, plus $100 for general checkup. They went over everything and topped up the washer fluid, no wiper blade change. I bought filters online and will change them myself.

They did one service bulletin replacing a seal on the mobile charger and two warranty repairs from things they found - I hadn’t put in any tickets. One of the wheel bolts was damaged - probably misthreaded at the factory - so they replaced the hub. And during the inspection they found a couple bad frunk liner clips so replaced them. They also washed the car with my permission.

It was worth the $200 for me. I waited there and caught up on emails and took a walk. It took longer than the expected two hours due to the hub change, however.

I just did my 7500--I waited until 8500. Inspection and tire rotation in Minneapolis was $200.

My service guy told me to make sure I schedule it early because I get backed up pretty easily. Interestingly enough he said he can't do the tire rotation in my driveway, and suggested that we should meet in some kind of retail parking lot for him to do it.

I was never told this and never did it. I just rotated on my own in the driveway.
