As someone who's driven in mountains a lot, it's worth noting unless you really get a particularly bad stretch(250 mi up hill) the range goes a long way in the mountains. Generally going slower, and a lot of times the end of trip is all down hill. I actually made it to Eisenhower Tunnel out of denver into mountains with like 4 mi of range and then pulled into charger at Frisco with like 22 mi.Yes, many times with different settings for wind, temp, road conditions and SOC.
I'm a little worried about range. On the interstate I think there are enough places to charge but when headed into the mountains the locations are fewer and a lot lower charge rating, which tell me they might also be less maintained and more likely to not be use.
