Rivian not supported with EVgo Autocharge+?

This looks like a nice feature to have, and the functionality is the same used for Tesla Superchargers, so I wonder why Rivian isn't on the list.

Seems like they suspended the sign up some time ago. No idea why. I had signed up for my R1T but didn't get around to doing it for my R1S. Have not used EVGo since my initial test with it.

It was at one point. However I recently tried to complete the process and have not been successful. I added the truck to the app, got to the “pending” state that required starting a new charge to complete the process. I have tried at least 2 different EVGo DCFC sites and each time I initiate the charge it has an error and says “unable to enroll in auto charge+” or something like that. I try a few times, then just initiate a normal charge through the app and it works, but still says pending in my app.

As others have said, they did enable it at one point. I used plug and charge 5 or 6 times at EVgo stations this past week. So much easier than messing with an app and hoping it works (EA).

Lots of vehicles not on the list. Doesn't matter to me, the app works perfectly.

that's strange. I just used an EVgo using the Autocharge+ a few days ago.

I signed up when it was first announced last year, and have used it a few times. I noticed Rivian wasn’t on the new list and was wondering why.

I signed up for evgo yesterday and added my vin. I have no option to enable the autocharge feature. Other fun things:

• There are 2 email verifications? I clicked on one and it said complete. But the mobile app (not the web app) was still showing unverified. Eventually another validation email came in.
• The app and website were out of sync for a while. I had added 1 vehicle via the mobile app. The web app didn't show it. I added another via the web, and the mobile app didn't show it.

Not confidence inspiring, but I guess good to have in a pinch.

I have auto charge with EVgo for my R1S and it works just fine

If I recall correctly, Autocharge+ was disabled for Rivians shortly after someone complained that they were charged for another vehicle's session.

Hopefully fixing this is a priority for EVgo.

I just tried charging the other day at the UCLA EVgo inside the parking structure (lot 4) and was unable to. I kept getting a connection error. I tried several different stations but got the same error. I even called support and they reset the station but still could not connect. Even the support person was unsure what was happening. I watched a Ford E-Mach, Audi etron, and a Chevy Bolt connect w/o issue.

I was newly registered and tried using the app to pay. I also tried using my CC. Payment was authorized but just could not connect with the R1S.

So, YMMV….
