Rivian Sunshade

I've been looking for a good windshield sunshade and saw that Rivian has one in the gear shop. Anyone try this yet? It seems awful expensive for a sunshade, but willing to pay for it if the quality is good. Thanks!

I use the large size fold up sunshade from Costco, works great and is very inexpensive. The accordion style from Rivian are pretty inconvenient and difficult to store in the vehicle IMHO

I bought a Covercraft sunshade. I have had them for all of my other vehicles and they’re the best in my opinion.

They are custom fit, not floppy, and fold away easily.

UVS100 is the model.

I second the large sunshade from Costco... Everything at Costco seems to be oversized, but for once this huge sunshade fit perfect for the large windshield of the Rivian. Plus... it's an endcap sale item at my store right now.

Huh. That's news. I've been using this, works well enough: https://a.co/d/3T0PZMn. It literally is nothing more than shade, with no insulator or insulating properties (unlike the expensive ones).

Good item.
When we park in summer we
1. Look for shade trees/buildings
2.park with windshield to north
as with most vehicles, the front sucks in more heat than other glass.
In winter we do the opposite

Unless it does a special trick, I am not paying $125 for a piece of foam when you can buy one at $10-20 at Amazon.

Does it really make a difference? I have seen some use these and have lived in Florida all of my life (sorry) but have never had one or used one to know the difference. I crack the windows and cool the cabin via the app and that works for me; prove me wrong.
